We promote individualized safety planning based on our belief that women are the experts in their own lives, through promising and best practices in education intervention and prevention. We seek to advocate that the Voice of East African Women is heard, by bringing the community together to support each other in times of crisis and change.

We offer programs that help youth heal from the damaging effects of domestic violence, Healing Hands Wellness Center to care for women and families as well as VEAW legal and advocacy support for victims of domestic abuse.
Programming is open to VEAW clients as well as the community-at-large. Classes may be scheduled at any of the VEAW centers, as well as in community settings. Some classes include Money Management, Individual Financial Counseling, Career Counseling and Support, Harriet’s Closet, Housing Search and Support Tech Center.
